At Kaštánkov Early Childhood Centre you will meet Petra, Magdaléna, and Iva. Together we create an environment where children feel safe, joyful, and inspired. Petra and Magdaléna focus on daily care, play, and creative activities with the children, while Iva takes on the organizational role and connects our centre with the wider community. As a team, we combine care, creativity, and good organization.

About Petra

My name is Petra Benlalam and my original profession is pediatric nurse. Although my interest in foreign languages led me to other career opportunities for a time, my love for children has always been what fulfilled me most – and eventually brought me back to this work. Over the past ten years I have gained experience in international nurseries and at a British school. I especially enjoy creative activities with children, because watching them enthusiastically discover new possibilities, develop their imagination, and refine fine motor skills is truly inspiring for me. I am happy that at Kaštánkov we can create a kind, stimulating, and playful environment where children can joyfully explore the world around them.

About Magdaléna

My name is Magdaléna Wyrobová. I am currently studying Preschool and Out-of-School Education, and I have been working with children for almost ten years. I most enjoy spending time with children outdoors, doing creative projects with them, or inventing various movement activities and games. I am very much looking forward to meeting all the children at Kaštánkov and supporting them on their journey of discovering themselves and the world around them.

About Iva

My name is Iva Rybníčková. I studied Preschool and Out-of-School Education and I am now completing Gender Studies at the Faculty of Humanities. At Kaštánkov I mainly take on the organizational role – I like coordinating and setting up events and projects so that both children and parents feel part of a friendly community. I like finding new ways to enrich our program and to create an environment that encourages cooperation, openness, and mutual inspiration. Together with Petra and Magdaléna, I look forward to building a space at Kaštánkov where care, creativity, and good organization come together.
