At Kaštánkov Early Childhood Centre you will most often meet Petra and Magdaléna, who are responsible for the day-to-day operation. They are supported as needed by Eva, Eliška and Kateřina. Iva coordinates the overall running of the centre. Together, we create a safe and supportive environment where children can develop, explore and discover their abilities.

About Petra

My name is Petra Benlalam and my original profession is pediatric nurse. Although my interest in foreign languages led me to other career opportunities for a time, my love for children has always been what fulfilled me most – and eventually brought me back to this work. Over the past ten years I have gained experience in international nurseries and at a British school. I especially enjoy creative activities with children, because watching them enthusiastically discover new possibilities, develop their imagination, and refine fine motor skills is truly inspiring for me. I am happy that at Kaštánkov we can create a kind, stimulating, and playful environment where children can joyfully explore the world around them.

About Magdaléna

My name is Magdaléna Wyrobová. I am currently studying Preschool and Out-of-School Education, and I have been working with children for almost ten years. I most enjoy spending time with children outdoors, doing creative projects with them, or inventing various movement activities and games. I am very much looking forward to meeting all the children at Kaštánkov and supporting them on their journey of discovering themselves and the world around them.

About Kateřina

My name is Kateřina Pelíšková. I am currently studying Primary School Teaching and have been working as a children’s swimming instructor for the past six years. I especially enjoy singing with children and combining music with movement and playing musical instruments. I find it rewarding to see how naturally children respond to music, join in, and discover the joy of movement and making music together. I look forward to supporting the children at Kaštánkov as they take their first steps towards independence, while encouraging their curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm for discovering and learning more about themselves and the world around them.

About Eliška

My name is Eliška Dolečková and I am a third-year student at the Faculty of Education, Charles University. I have been working with children for the past five years, including experience in an English-language nursery school and an international nursery. In my work with children, I place particular emphasis on an individual approach and on creating a kind, safe and creative environment where every child can feel free to be themselves.

About Eva

My name is Eva Klárová and I am a graduate of the Faculty of Education at Charles University. For more than 30 years, I worked as the owner and director of an organisation providing educational and cultural activities for children and young people. I love music and enjoy spending time with children, as their energy and curiosity continue to inspire me.

About Iva

My name is Iva Rybníčková. I studied early childhood education, followed by gender studies. At Kaštánkov, I am responsible primarily for organizational and conceptual leadership - planning, coordination, and ensuring the smooth running of the entire project. I enjoy connecting people, ideas, and processes so that Kaštánkov can function as a friendly and well‑organized community for both children and parents.
